High-Resolution Layer (HRL) Water and Wetness data at a 10 m spatial resolution were also obtained for the year 2018 from the Copernicus Land Monitoring Service. The presence of permanent water was determined through the analysis of multi-temporal and multi-seasonal optical high-resolution satellite images. All thematic layers for 2018 are derived from multi-temporal Sentinel-2 satellite data from the European Space Agency (ESA).
